REMOTE FIRMWARE UPGRADE

Crear los ficheros

    * Se supone que ya he creado los ficheros de la PROM (*.mcs o *.jed para rosmem)
    * Abro el Impact y en la tab de "Mode" selecciono "File Mode" 

    * Vas a la tab de SVF-STAPL-XSVF
    * Right click y Create SVF file. Pones el nombre del fichero que quieres.
    * Right click y Add Xilinx device.
    * Seleccionas el *.mcs del dispositivo e indicas que es una xc18v01-vq44
    * Right click en el dispositivo y pones que es Parallel Mode
    * quito lo del Verify por si acaso 

Download firmware

    * ssh dtdqm@cmsusr0
    * ssh vmepcs2g16-09 (MACHINE CONNECTED TO THE SC CRATE)
    * vmepcs2g16-06 -> YB-2
    * vmepcs2g16-07 -> YB-1
    * vmepcs2g16-08 -> YB0
    * vmepcs2g16-09 -> YB+1
    * vmepcs2g16-10 -> YB+2 

    * go to /nfshome0/dtdqm/cristina/firmremote 

    * you have to type first:
    * export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=~dtpro/vmelinux-1.1.-06up/libvme/ 

    * If you want to change the default files that will be loaded in the FPGAs you have to do:
    * vi firmremote.h 

    * modify the files 

    * recompile with makeremote
