How to reach CIEMAT


CIEMAT entrance

By car


CIEMAT has its own free car parking.


  • From Moncloa: Arco de Triunfo, Avda. Arco de la Victoria (A6), Plz. de Cardenal Cisneros and Avda. Complutense.

  • From M-30 and A6: Exit Sinesio Delgado, follow Ciudad Universitaria-CIEMAT.

  • From Barajas Airport: 12 km from city center.
    • Head towards: Madrid - Avenida de America (A-2).
    • Take A-2.
    • Exit M-30 Sur (A-4,A-42,A-5).
    • Continue along M-30.
    • Exit 23 towards Sinesio Delgado - Ciudad Universitaria CIEMAT.

Public transportation in Madrid


For underground and bus the price of a single trip is 1 euro and could be bought directly in the bus and underground ticket offices. A 10 trip ticket, called "metrobus", is highly recommended. The price is 9 euros and is only available in underground ticket offices. This ticket is valid for both underground and bus.

    Special bus to CIEMAT


    A special bus service will be made available on the days of the general meeting, going to CIEMAT and back. The bus stop will be in front of the entrace of the Hotel HUSA Moncloa (Street Serrano Jover, 1). The bus stop is at 2 minutes walking from hotels Tirol and Rosales. There will be 2 buses. The second one will do a second stop at hotel NH Arguelles, picking all of you who are there.

    Access to CIEMAT


    The access to the site is controlled. You will need a card for entering. If you arrive by the bus organized by us the 5th of May or to the working groups sessions, you will go directly to the building # 1 for the registration and we will provide you the card. If you arrive by yourself, then you should address to the main entrance to take the card.
     

    Collaboration Dinner


    The Collaboration dinner will take place on Thursday, 6th May, 20:30h at

    At walking distance (5-10 min. depending on the hotel) from the hotels. There will be a menu with some entrances and meat (fish if you do not eat meat). You can check the way from your hotel to the restaurant in the following map:
